OUR APPROACH
Cleaning isn't complicated. Doing it properly is.
We don't believe you need a 47-step cleaning ritual to get a house looking bloody good.
You need good people, a good system, the right products, a sharp eye for detail and enough time to actually do the job properly.
That's the House of Clean approach.
We've built our service around one simple question:
"If we were coming home to this house, what would we want it to feel like?"
Then we clean accordingly.
01 - BOOK IT. FORGET IT.
We've made booking intentionally simple.
Choose your service, tell us a little about your home, pick a time that works and let us take it from there.
No back-and-forth trying to explain what a standard clean means.
No wondering whether you've booked the right thing.
No weird cleaning jargon.
Just a straightforward way to get your home on the calendar.
Your only job is to book it.
02 - KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING.
We don't like vague promises.
Every House of Clean service is built around a clear scope of work, so you know what we're coming to do and our cleaners know exactly what's expected.
From bathrooms and kitchens to bedrooms, living areas and those easy-to-forget details, our approach is structured without making the experience feel robotic.
Because consistency matters.
You shouldn't get an amazing clean one week and wonder what happened the next.
The standard stays the standard.
03 - THE RIGHT PEOPLE.
A House of Clean booking isn't just a time slot in a calendar.
It's a person entering your home.
That's a big deal.
We're building our team carefully because personality, reliability and attention to detail matter just as much as cleaning ability.
Our cleaners are onboarded into the House of Clean way of working, supported by systems and expectations, and given the tools they need to do the job properly.
We're not interested in filling a roster with whoever happens to be available.
We're building a team we're proud to put in your home.
04 - CLEAN WITH INTENTION.
We don't believe in cleaning on autopilot.
A good cleaner notices things.
The fingerprints around the door handles.
The dust collecting in the corners.
The build-up around taps.
The crumbs hiding under the bench appliances.
The spots that are technically clean but could definitely be better.
Our cleaners are encouraged to actually look at the space they're working in rather than blindly moving from one task to the next.
Because sometimes the difference between clean and really clean is simply paying attention.
05 - WE DON'T CUT CORNERS.
There are fast ways to clean a house.
And then there are proper ways.
We're all for efficiency. Nobody wants a cleaner spending six hours doing something that should take three.
But efficiency doesn't mean skipping the things that matter.
Our systems are designed to help our team work efficiently without sacrificing the finish.
We finish fast.
We never cut corners.
That's the deal.
06 - YOUR HOME, YOUR WAY.
Every home is different.
A family home isn't the same as a one-bedroom apartment.
A house with three dogs isn't the same as a minimalist apartment.
And what matters to you might not matter to someone else.
That's why we listen.
If there's something you particularly want attention paid to, tell us.
If there's something we need to know before we arrive, tell us.
If there's a surface that needs special care, tell us.
The more we understand your home, the better we can look after it.
You know your house. We know cleaning.
07 - PRODUCTS THAT MAKE SENSE.
We don't believe that having 38 bottles under the sink automatically makes you a better cleaner.
Our approach is about using the right product for the right job.
Customers can choose whether House of Clean supplies the cleaning products or whether their own preferred products are used, depending on the service and booking options available.
Whatever we're using, the goal is the same:
effective, appropriate and safe cleaning.
No unnecessary product roulette.
No using something just because it's what we've always used.
Just products that do what they're supposed to do.
08 - RESPECT THE SPACE.
We are guests in your home.
That means treating it accordingly.
We take reasonable care around your belongings, respect your privacy and don't make assumptions about how you live.
We're not there to judge the laundry pile.
We're not there to inspect your kitchen cupboards.
We're not there to wonder why there are seventeen mugs on the bedside table.
We're there to clean.
No judgement. Ever.
09 - CONSISTENCY OVER EVERYTHING.
Anyone can have a great cleaning day.
We're interested in having great cleaning every time.
That's why we're building systems around the service — from booking and scheduling through to cleaner onboarding, service standards and customer feedback.
The goal isn't perfection in theory.
It's reliability in practice.
You should know what to expect when you see that House of Clean booking confirmation pop up.
And when you walk back through your front door, you should know what you're going to get.
A house that feels clean.
10 - IF SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT, TELL US.
We don't expect every clean to be perfect.
We're human. Things can get missed.
What matters is what happens next.
If something isn't right, tell us.
We'll listen, we'll look into it and, where appropriate, we'll work with you to put it right.
We'd rather know about a problem than pretend it doesn't exist.
Because good service isn't about never getting anything wrong.
It's about caring enough to fix it.
THE HOUSE WAY
Our approach comes down to a few things:
Good people.
People we trust in your home.
Clear standards.
No guessing what "clean" means.
Sharp attention to detail.
Because the little things add up.
Good systems.
So the experience doesn't depend on luck.
Respect.
For your home, your time and our team.
No judgement.
Ever.
And a really bloody good clean.
That's the House of Clean approach.
