OUR STANDARDS

Clean isn't a feeling. It's a standard.

At House of Clean, we don't want "pretty good."

We want the kind of clean where you walk through the door and immediately notice the difference.

Our standards are what keep that experience consistent — regardless of which House of Clean team member walks through your door.

THE HOUSE STANDARD

Every clean is built around the same principles:

Thorough.
We don't just clean what you can see at first glance. We pay attention to the details that make a space feel properly finished.

Consistent.
Your home shouldn't be cleaned differently every time. Our team works to a defined standard so the basics are never left to chance.

Efficient.
We respect your time and our cleaners' time. We work with purpose, without confusing speed with cutting corners.

Respectful.
Your home is personal. We treat your belongings, space and privacy accordingly.

Professional.
We show up prepared, communicate clearly and take responsibility for the work we're there to do.

WHAT "CLEAN" MEANS TO US

We're not here to simply tick boxes.

We're looking for the little things.

Sinks cleaned and polished.
Cooktops cleaned.
Splashbacks wiped.
Appliance exteriors cleaned where included.
Cupboard fronts spot-cleaned where required.
Floors vacuumed and mopped.
Dust, crumbs and everyday build-up removed.

BATHROOMS

Showers and baths cleaned.
Toilets cleaned and sanitised.
Basins and taps cleaned.
Mirrors polished.
Benchtops and surfaces wiped.
Visible soap and grime build-up addressed.
Floors vacuumed and mopped.
The little details around fixtures aren't forgotten.

BEDROOMS & LIVING AREAS

Surfaces dusted and wiped where accessible.
Furniture and accessible areas cleaned.
Floors vacuumed.
Hard floors mopped where applicable.
Visible cobwebs removed.
Bins emptied where included.
Beds made where this forms part of the selected service.

THROUGHOUT THE HOME

High-touch areas receive attention.
Doors and handles are checked.
Skirting boards are addressed where included.
Corners and edges aren't forgotten.
Dust is removed from accessible surfaces.
Floors are left looking and feeling fresh.

And if we can see it, reach it and it's part of the service — we're going to notice it.

THE DETAILS MATTER

Some of the biggest differences aren't the obvious ones.

It's the edge of the skirting board.

The fingerprints around the handle.

The dust hiding behind the lamp.

The grime around the tap.

The crumbs underneath the bench appliance.

The bathroom mirror that actually looks like a mirror again.

Those details are what turn "someone cleaned my house" into:

"Holy shit, my house is clean."

That's the standard we're chasing.

WE DON'T RUSH THE FINISH

We're big on efficiency.

We're not big on rushing.

Our cleaners are expected to manage their time intelligently and work efficiently, but never at the expense of the quality of the clean.

If something genuinely needs attention, it gets attention.

If something isn't safe to clean, we won't risk it.

If something requires a specialist service outside our scope, we'll tell you rather than pretending we can do everything.

Fast doesn't mean careless.

STANDARDISED, NOT COOKIE-CUTTER

Every home is different.

Our standards aren't designed to make every house look identical.

They're designed to make sure the fundamentals are consistently done properly.

Your home might have three dogs, a toddler, marble bathrooms and a kitchen that somehow collects crumbs from another dimension.

Another customer might have a tiny apartment and absolutely no clutter.

Same standard.

Different house.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Our standards mean something because we're prepared to stand behind them.

If something has been missed, tell us.

We'll listen, investigate and, where appropriate, work with you to put it right.

We're continually learning from customer feedback and using it to improve how we train, support and manage our team.

Because the standard isn't something we write on a website.

It's something we have to deliver.

THE HOUSE RULE

There's really only one rule:

Leave it better than you found it.

Not just technically clean.

Not just "good enough."

Better.

That's the House of Clean standard.

And that's what we're building the House around.
